1
Give us your website — or the business profile you already maintain. That's the whole setup.
2
Your hours — including holiday hours. Your address and directions. Your services and prices. Your policies and amenities: the patio, the parking, the "yes, dogs are welcome." Your FAQ, if you have one. Organized into answers your agent can stand behind.
3
A chat bubble on your website. A link in your Instagram bio. A QR code by the register and on the door. Rich messaging in your customers' texting apps — with cards, photos, and buttons for the things they'd tap next: call, directions, menu.
Three businesses, three real conversations — rich cards, tappable suggestions, honest answers. Everything you see here is something the agent actually does.

Doesn't know? Says so — and hands over your real number.
Your agent works out open-or-closed from your actual hours, in your timezone — holiday hours and late nights included. It will never tell a customer you're open when you're not.
The phone number, email, and address it gives are the ones you publish. It cannot make one up.
Ask it something your profile doesn't cover, and it says so — politely — and offers the fastest way to reach a human: you.
You keep your business info where you already keep it. When your hours, services, or policies change, your agent follows — no dashboard to remember, nothing to re-train. One source of truth: yours.

Early access
About.chat is new, and we're building it side-by-side with a first group of local businesses. Founding businesses get white-glove setup (we do it — you approve it) and a direct line to the team.
Got it. We'll build a preview of your agent and text you when it's ready to try.
Anything your business profile covers: hours (including holidays), location and directions, services and posted prices, policies and amenities, and the questions on your FAQ page. Ask it something outside that, and it says so and shares your contact info.
Nothing. Point us at your website or business profile and we build the agent from it. You review what it knows before it goes live.
It only answers from the facts you've published and approved. When it doesn't know, it says "I'm not sure" and offers your phone number — it never fills gaps with guesses.
Wherever you put it: your website's chat bubble, a link, a QR code, or rich text messaging with cards and tappable buttons.
Update your profile the way you already do; your agent follows. Holiday hours are the classic case — set them once and it answers accordingly.
Founding businesses: free while we build together, and a founding rate when pricing launches. No contracts.
