This Privacy Policy describes how Redirect Ventures, Inc. ("we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit the About.chat network of websites — including about.chat, chatbot.gallery, registry.chat, for.chat, and newrobotoverlords.com — (collectively, the "Sites").

Information We Collect

Automatically collected: We use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymous usage data including pages visited, time on site, device type, and general geographic location. This data is aggregated and cannot identify you personally.

Cookies: We use essential cookies for site functionality and analytics cookies (Google Analytics). You can disable cookies in your browser settings.

Newsletter subscriptions: If you choose to subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. Subscription is voluntary.

Tool submissions: If you submit a chatbot via chatbot.gallery/submit, we collect the information you provide: chatbot name, URL, description, category, and your email address. We use this information to review your submission and notify you when it has been reviewed. Submission data is stored in a hosted database provider.

How We Use Information

We use collected data to: improve our websites and content; understand which chatbot listings are most popular; generate aggregate statistics about the chatbot ecosystem; serve relevant advertising; and send newsletter emails to subscribers who have opted in.

Third-Party Services

Google Analytics: We use GA4 for website analytics. Google's privacy policy applies to data collected by their service.

Affiliate Partners: When you click affiliate links, the destination site may collect information according to their own privacy policy.

Advertising: We may display advertisements from third-party ad networks. These networks may use cookies to serve ads based on your interests.

Newsletter delivery (beehiiv): If you subscribe to our newsletter, your email address is transmitted to beehiiv, Inc., our newsletter delivery platform. beehiiv processes subscriber data on our behalf to deliver newsletter emails. Data Storage

Our chatbot directory database is hosted by a hosted database provider. We store tool submission records including submitter email addresses for review and notification purposes. We do not store personal user data beyond what you voluntarily provide via our submission form. Email subscriber data is managed by beehiiv, Inc. on our behalf. Analytics data is processed by Google.

Your Rights

You can: opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on; disable cookies in your browser; unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send; contact us to request information about data we hold.

Children's Privacy

Our sites are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
